Wool Components.

The lambs’ wool used in our backpacks originates through natural casualties from the harsh weather conditions during lambing season. Previously left in New Zealand’s fields, we are now able to breathe new life into their beautiful wool by uniting them with our creations.

Possum Components.

Possums were introduced into New Zealand and with no natural predators are now considered as one of the largest threats to New Zealand’s native wildlife. To minimise damage caused by possums, they are caught in our forests, where their fur is collected and utilised for its premium quality and luxurious texture. A by-product of conservation efforts, possum makes for an ethical source of fur.

Heavy Cotton Canvas.

Forming the foundation of many of our backpacks, heavy-duty cotton canvas is a hardwearing product of nature. Making use of natural materials, the backpacks are generally built on a foundation of cotton canvas complemented by full leather and suede paneling and trim details, with traditional metal domes, buckles, and clasps.
